Solution
The SCXI-1600 drivers are not compatible with the Windows 7 64-bit or Windows 10, as outlined in the readme for the DAQmx driver. As a workaround, you can run the SCXI-1600 in the Windows XP Compatibility mode in Windows 7, as described by the Microsoft resource
Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows.
Note: Support for SCXI was dropped in NI-DAQmx 19.1 and later.
Additionally, an alternative option would be to create a Windows Virtual Machine with a supported Operating System.
These workarounds have worked for several customers, however, National Instruments does not guarantee its functionality, since it is not an officially supported configuration.
