Ethernet Port is Not Working on FRC roboRIO

Issue Details

When I connect my roboRIO to the network via Ethernet, it does not work. The Ethernet status lights do not light up. When I connect the roboRIO to my computer, I cannot connect to the device via the Ethernet port.


Try there troubleshooting steps to determine where the error is occurring in your set up:
  1. Try using a new Ethernet cable.
  2. Try connecting to a different, known-working network connection (i.e. another wall port or another port on the router you are using.)
  3. To eliminate any potential software issues, reimage the device from safe mode.
  4. Ensure that you are able to connect to the device via USB. If not, this may indicate a larger connection issue. 
If you try the steps above and still have no connectivity with the roboRIO via the Ethernet port, contact NI for next steps.
