Error -225201 When Self-Testing NI-DAQmx Device

Issue Details

When I try to self-test my CompactDAQ chassis, I get Error -225201: Internal Software Error occurred in the MIO software. Please contact National Instruments Support.
 

How can I troubleshoot this issue?

Solution

There are a few troubleshooting steps to try:
  1. Un-reserve and reserve the chassis again. 
  2. Reset the chassis using the Reset button on the chassis. 
  3. Delete the chassis from NI Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and re-add it.
  4. Reset the NI MAX configuration.
If the problem persists, contact National Instruments support.
