Frequent Crashes using Volume License Manager 3.1

Issue Details

I am seeing a recurring crash with NI Volume License Manager 3.1 that causes interruptions in the availability of the license server and requires the server to be restarted periodically. The crash logs point to a couple of xerces dll's (xerces-c_2_6.dll and xerces-depdom_2_6.dll) inside of the National Instruments\Shared\License Manager\Bin path.

What is the cause of these crashes?


While the exact cause of these crashes is unknown, upgrading to NI Volume License Manager 3.1.1 has been shown to resolve this issue.
