I see that the WSN driver allows me to specify multiple nodes with the same node ID. Why would the software allow me to do this?
This is expected behavior but is intended to be avoided in an application. Allowing multiple nodes to have the same node ID allows the user to easily swap node IDs when desired. Restricting this would complicate the swapping process. However, the network should never be deployed if multiple nodes are configured with the same ID.
