My Asynchronously Called VI in LabVIEW Isn't Stopping Right Away

Issue Details

I am calling a VI with the 'Call and Forget' option (x80) asynchronously and the called VI doesn't stop right away. I am calling it with the below method:
 

Why is this happening? 

Solution

Calling a VI asynchronously with the 'Call and Forget' option will queue up the operation. This will effectively restart the VI and reinitialize all of its values for as many times as the VI is called. Make sure that you aren't calling the VI multiple times.
