Please check your internet connection and try again.

Solution

There is no single reason why this error could be happening. To resolve the issue, try the following these steps:
  • Check your internet connection. Refer to the Problem Updating Feeds When Installing Through NI Package Manager document for more information.
    1. If you are installing from an offline installer, this may mean that it's corrupted:
    • Delete the downloaded file and re-download it and move it to the offline computer.
    • Try mounting the offline installer (ISO file) and extracting all the files before moving them into the offline computer. Note: Some encryption from external devices may corrupt the ISO file.
  • Make sure you have the latest NI Package Manager release: Download NI Package Manager.
  • Try uninstalling the specific component at the file path pointed out in the error message. In some cases, removing this component will allow you to install the software, and you can then re-install that component.
  • Delete the package that's having the problem by following the steps in this document.
  • Restart NI Package Manager and try installing the NI software you are using again.
  • Download and install the offline installer for the software from NI's website

Note: The ProgramData folder in Windows is a hidden folder. Follow the next guide to show it: External Link: Show hidden files.

If you can download and install a different package from the NI Package Manager store, contact NI Support and reference this article.

Additional Information

This error message can be caused by internet connectivity issues. Try downloading another NI Package Manager package. If that package also fails, the problem is most likely caused by your internet connection.
