  • LabVIEW FPGA Module

Issue Details

  • Which devices can I use with LabVIEW FPGA?
  • Can any Xilinx FPGA chip be programmed with LabVIEW FPGA?
  • Which are the hardware or chipsets that are supported by LabVIEW FPGA?
  • Can I program a third-party FPGA device with the LabVIEW FPGA module?
  • Is it possible for me to export either VHDL or Verilog code frpm LabVIEW FPGA to compile and deploy the bitfile to 3rd party or custom hardware?

  • The LabVIEW FPGA module is designed to compile bitfiles exclusively for the National Instruments RIO (reconfigurable I/O) hardware.
  • Stand-alone (non-NI) Xilinx FPGA circuits cannot be programmed in LabVIEW FPGA.
  • You cannot access the VHDL files generated in the compilation process.

Additional Information

The LabVIEW FPGA Module is designed to help you develop FPGA applications for NI reconfigurable I/O (RIO) hardware targets. These include:
