FRC Radio Bridge Configuration Failed

Issue Details

While configuring my radio for FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) I receive an error saying:

Bridge configuration failed: Failed to change IP Address, please check for an adapter with the address: 192.68.1.51 Please ensure the Bridge is connected to this computer and try again.

Solution

This can occur if another network adapter on the computer already occupies the IP address 192.168.1.51.

Disable all network adapters except the one your radio is connected to and then manually configure the IP address of the adapter you wish to use to 192.168.1.51
