Issue Details

I'm importing DXF files created in CAD software into Ultiboard. However, when I open them, I get non-sense lines, wrong geometries or incorrect scaling. How can I fix this?

Solution

As many file types, DXF has also different versions. Save your DXF file according to your Ultiboard version you want to import it from:

Autocad VersionUltiboard VersionDXF Version
AutoCAD 2013-...Ultiboard 13, 14AC1027
AutoCAD 2010-2012Ultiboard 11, 12AC1024
AutoCAD 2007-2009Ultiboard 10AC1021
AutoCAD 2004-2006Ultiboard 9AC1018
AutoCAD 2000-2003Ultiboard 8AC1015

Additional Information

DXF is an exchange format for content of AutoCAD Drawing Files (DWG). The DXF format specification is maintained and has been openly published by AutoDesk. The documentation was first released in 1982, and has been updated frequently as the AutoCAD product has been enhanced. The DXF Reference documentation is available through AutoCAD Help.
