Unknown Error While Running a Installer

Issue Details

I want to install a software (CANopen LabVIEW Library in this case) but when I run the installer, I get the following unknown error.

Solution

The error might occur because of various reasons however you could try the following steps -
  • Turn off the Antivirus protection
  • Execute the installer as run as administrator.
  • In case you are installing the software over a network, turn off the network Firewall as well.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the NI License Manager and then install the software.
  • Check for the software's compatibility(refer to readme file) with the current operating system.
  • If after applying all this steps the issue continues, the cause could be related with corruption in the OS of the computer where you are trying to install this software.
