Solution
This means that the NI TestStand Service is not running. You can restart the service in the Computer Management.
Follow these steps to manually start the service:
- Press the Windows and X keys together
- Chose Computer Management
- Select the Services under the Services and Applications menu
- Search for the NI TestStand Service and make sure its status is Running and the startup type is Automatic.
- If the service is stopped, restart it by right-clicking and selecting Start.
