The reason for not being able to add a myRIO to a project could be because:
- Firmware version is outdated
- Software is not installed on the myRIO device
An RT system must have the required software installed on the device as well as the host. You will find the list of required software for myRIO in the related links section. You should be able to connect your myRIO after following the above steps. If you still face difficulties, kindly contact NI.
- Your firewall is blocking communication with the device
