Issue Details

I'm trying to simulate a DAQ device in NI MAX like I've done on my Windows computer, but I can't find the option to create a simulated device. Is it possible to create virtual hardware on my Mac to use in my LabVIEW code?

Solution

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to create a virtual device in the Mac version of NI MAX. The version of MAX for Windows and Mac OS aren't equivalent and the Mac version does not have the full functionality that the Windows version does. However, a virtual device can be simulated by creating a Windows virtual machine(VM) and simulating the device in the VM.
