Issue Details

Where can I find detailed technical information about the structure of DIAdem data (DAT) files?

DIAdem data is saved as two files: a *.DAT header file and a binary file (*.R64, *.R32, *.I16, etc). The DAT header file is a text file that contains the headers for the data set and individual channels. The binary file contains the actual data and can be of several binary formats including REAL64, REAL48, REAL32, INT32, INT16, WORD16, and WORD8.

A detailed description of the DIAdem header file is available in the DIAdem Data Set Description.

Additional Information

DIAdem *.DAT is an old file format. Current standard is .TDM
