Issue Details

  • When I run a self-calibration on my NI device, I receive Error -200437: External calibration constants are invalid. Perform an external calibration. How do I fix this?
  • I'm trying to calibrate my device in Calibration Executive, but I'm receiving Error -200437. Why can't I calibrate my device with Calibration Executive?

The device in question needs to be externally calibrated. You can do this yourself by following the posted calibration procedure for your device. You can also send your device to National Instruments for calibration.

Calibration Executive procedures often run a self-calibration at the beginning of the procedure, which would then generate this error and cause the procedure to fail. If this is the case, you can try to run an Adjust Only procedure, which may not run the self-calibration. You can also run a manual calibration as above.

If the error persists after a manual, external calibration, contact National Instruments Support .
