Is My NI Software or Hardware Still Active?

I want to know if this NI product is still active, or what its life cycle looks like. 

Solution

Hardware:
If you visit the product page of the hardware you are looking into, you will can see if the life cycle has changed. Take PXI-5406 product page, for example. You can the Life Cycle Status as Mature. There is a link on the status, and if you click it you will go to Hardware Product Life Cycle Policies. This shows the different life cycles of NI products, and gives an explanation of each. Since for this example we are talking about mature, you can see that it is "Not Recommended for New Designs" or "Legacy."

Software:
If you visit the Software Product Life Cycle Policies​ page you can find a list of software. Some have links to other pages to explain the life cycle of that product. For example, if you were looking for the active versions of LabVIEW you would click on NI LabVIEW life cycle policy link in the table. This would take you to a page that explains which versions are current release support, mainstream support, extended support, and unsupported.
