Issue Details

When I try to introduce my Service ID in Volume Licensing Center (VLC) I get the following error: "A matching Service ID could not be found. Try again or contact National Instruments if you believe there is an error". However, I have confirmed my Service ID is correct and I use it to get license files. What is happening?

Solution

If you have a Service ID from an Academic Volume License (ASL) you will be unable to access to the Volume Licensing Center (VLC). We recommend that the software administrators only use NI Volume License Manager to view and modify your Volume License. If you have questions about your agreement (what software it contains, pricing, or serial numbers), want to modify your agreement setup, or have a new license file generated, please contact services@ni.com.
