Optimizing Input and Output Power of the PXIe-3620

Issue Details

I noticed in the mmWave Transceiver System Specifications that there is a graph for both IF transmitter and receiver noise and distortion.  How can I use these graphs to optimize the input and output power of the PXIe-3620 so that I obtain optimal signal to noise ratio?

Solution

The mmWave Transceiver System is meant to be interfaced at a system level rather than a component level (i.e. the PXIe-3620).  There is no need to use the graphs found in the specifications to optimize input and output power because the system comes with a calibration utility that takes care of the power optimization for you based on your input parameters.
