Issue Details

I am using an ISC-178x Smart Camera with the Power and IO Accessory. How can I use this setup to control a light using LabVIEW? Are there any examples?

Solution

The wiring diagram for connecting a lighting controller can be found on page 6 of the ISC-178x Power and IO Accessories manual.

IMAQdx property nodes can be used to set attributes and send commands to the lighting controller. The best example of this is the Digital IO (177x or 178x Smart Camera).vi, which can be found in LabVIEW by navigating to Help > Find Examples > Hardware Input and Output > Vision Acquisition > Signal Input and Output > Digital IO (177x or 178x Smart Camera).vi.

Note: You must have IMAQdx installed to view or use this example.
