Error Activating NI Software with Volume License or EA Serial Number

Issue Details

I am trying to activate one of my National Instruments software products in NI License Manager using the serial number I have from my company's Enterprise Agreement (EA), but I keep getting errors. If I try to activate the software on the NI Product Activation webpage, I still get errors, like the one shown below:

How do I activate the software?

Additional Information

  • Many Enterprise Agreements license NI software such as LabVIEW through a volume license server
  • You can check to see if your network license is user-based by reviewing the License Model column for your License on the Network Licenses tab of NI License Manager 4.0
