Issue Details

I purchased a NI myRIO, but it did not come with a serial number to activate the necessary software. How can I activate my software?

Solution

Only the student versions of NI myRIO include a serial number to activate the software.
Customers who purchase the academic option typically have access to an Academic Volume License (AVL) and can activate the required software through their license.

For additional information and pricing, refer to the myRIO product page . If you want a valid serial number for the device included with the hardware, you will need to purchase the General version, not the Academic version.
