Issue Details

I am connecting a TSN enabled cRIO with one or more TSN enabled cDAQ(s). I have installed the DAQmx driver onto the cRIO, but am unable to access the cDAQ module channels in LabVIEW. In NI MAX, the modules are detected and I can create tasks. What is needed for LabVIEW to recognize the cDAQ channels when daisy-chained to a cRIO?

Solution

This issue was addressed with the NI CompactRIO 17.6 driver (which includes the NI-DAQmx 17.6 driver). After installing this version of the driver, you should be able to access the cDAQ channels that are daisy-chained to the cRIO in LabVIEW. In previous versions of the driver, you could manually type the channel, but not select it from the drop-down menu.
