Is it possible to use NI Vision Acquisition Software on my Real-Time target?

Solution

You can use NI Vision Acquisition Software (VAS) with Real-Time targets by installing the correct software driver to your target with some limitations. The required software driver (included in the VAS download) is dependent on the camera bus type. A quick chart is listed below.

NI IMAQ:
  • NI 17xx smart cameras
  • Camera Link cameras
