My FPGA Code is Not Updating My Real-time or Host VI

Issue Details

I tried using a probe on my FPGA code, but it just says "Not Executed". I am also not getting the expected output from the hardware, or in my Real-time VI.

Solution

You can only use LabVIEW probes when testing the FPGA code in Simulation mode. To test if the code is running, you can add a Read/Write node and send information to the Real-time or Host VI.

Also, make sure that if you are calling the FPGA code in your Real-time or Host VI, that you do not manually start the FPGA code first. Just use the Open FPGA Reference VI and point it to either your FPGA VI or compiled bitfile.
