NI Device Fails to Reconnect to Wireless Network

Issue Details

I am trying to reconnect my NI device (myRIO, VirtualBench, etc) to the wireless network that I've configured through Measurement & Automation Explorer. However, after entering in my user name and password, my device will not connect. 


This can occur if you change the security type from the initial setting when you first connected to the access point. In order reconnect your device, you need to forget the network connection and reconnect to the network. This will update the connection settings to reflect the current network configuration, including security type.

If you are still having issues, try to connect to your wireless network by moving closer to the access point. You may also need to work with your IT department to reserve configuration information on the network.
