Issue Details

I was able to acquire an image from my device in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) but the device does not appear in Vision Assistant. Where are my framegrabber and camera?

Solution

To acquire an image in Vision Assistant from your device, close all other references to the device. In MAX, deselect the device or close MAX.

Vision Assistant will only show available imaging devices. If you are able to acquire an image in MAX, then your configuration is correct. If the device is still selected in MAX or in use by other software, then it is not available for use in Vision Assistant.
