Issue Details

I would like to use Chinese/Korean/Japanese characters in my English LabVIEW VI, however some of the characters are replaced by question marks.  How can I correctly use these characters in my VI?

Solution

You can add East Asian languages characters to a LabVIEW front panel by changing the language settings in Windows XP. To change the language and add East Asian language characters, refer to KnowledgeBase 4UO964C5: Displaying Non-English Characters in LabVIEW. The instructions in this article can be applied to any East Asian language character set that Windows XP supports.
