Issue Details

I have a USB R Series Multifunction RIO Device, which has three user LEDs on the front labeled 1, 2, and 3. However, when I use the NI-RIO 13.0 driver, the user LEDs are listed as 0, 1, and 2. Why do the user LEDs in the NI-RIO driver not match up with the user LEDs on the front of my device?

Solution

The NI-RIO 13.0 driver, which is included in the driver DVD that shipped with some RIO devices, incorrectly labels the user LEDs for USB R Series Multifunction RIO devices.  The devices themselves have user LEDs labeled 1, 2, and 3, but the NI-RIO 13.0 driver represents these same LEDs as 0, 1, and 2. Please reference the Related Links section, which includes a link to a driver patch that will update the NI-RIO driver to correctly represent the user LEDs.
