Issue Details

When I plug in my GPIB-USB device, I see the device listed in NI MAX, but a yellow warning indicator is shown and it states Windows does not have a driver associated with your device.

Solution

You will need to install a compatible version of the NI-488.2  driver.
  1. Identify the latest compatible driver version by cross-reference the following compatibility documents:

If you need to install NI-488.2 17.0 or earlier, refer to How to Download NI-488.2 Drivers Prior to 17.6
  1. Use MAX to identify what driver version is currently installed.
  2. If the compatible drivers are already installed, follow the steps in Windows Does Not Have a Driver Associate with Your Device Error in MAX to continue troubleshooting your driver installation.
