Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Support for NI Controllers

I need a controller that supports Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 or 2.0. What options does NI provide?

Solution

NI provides the following options for TPM support:

PXI:

• TPM is not supported on any PXI controller
  
  

PXIe:

• The PXIe-8880 supports TPM 1.2
• The PXIe-8861 supports TPM 2.0
• The PXIe-8881 supports TPM 2.0
• The PXIe-8822 supports TPM 2.0
• The PXIe-8842 supports TPM 2.0
• The PXIe-8862 supports TPM 2.0
  
  

Rack Mounted Systems:

• The RMC-8357 supports TPM 1.2 (no longer sold)
• The RMC-8356 is the only RMC that supports both TPM 1.2 and TPM 2.0
  
  

In order to enable TPM support, your hardware must have a TPM chip embedded in it.
NI does not currently provide or sell TPM 1.2 or 2.0 chips or modules.

Additional Information

China TPM 2.0 

NI offers both standard TPM 2.0 and China TPM 2.0 options. China TPM 2.0 complies with Chinese government regulations and uses local cryptographic algorithms (SM2, SM3, SM4) instead of international standards (RSA, SHA, AES). This is required for products deployed in China to meet local security standards. If your system will be used in China, select the China TPM option.
