Issue Details

  • When I start LabVIEW, Application Builder asks for activation.
  • What is Application Builder, and why do I keep seeing a notice for it when I start LabVIEW?
  • How do I get rid of the activation message when I start LabVIEW?

LabVIEW Application Builder is an add-on for LabVIEW that enables one to create a standalone .exe or installer from a VI.  It is included with LabVIEW Professional Development System, or can be bought by itself.

LabVIEW Application Builder may be included when you install LabVIEW.  If not fully activated, it will be activated with a trial license.  While on a trial license, you will be informed of the time remaining when you start LabVIEW.

To activate LabVIEW Application Builder, use a valid serial number for the LabVIEW Application Builder, or for LabVIEW Professional Development System.  You may activate software through the NI License Manager.  You may also use the NI License Manager to deactivate trial licenses if you so desire.
