Issue Details

I am self-calibrating all of the cards in my PXI system. The DAQ cards only take seconds to self-calibrate, but my DSA device takes 2-3 minutes. Why is the DSA device taking so long? Can I speed the process up?

Solution

This is expected behavior and there is no way to speed the process up. The reason that DSA devices take longer to self-calibrate is because it must calibrate over a wide range of frequencies. With DSA devices accuracy is a concern, whereas with DAQ devices there is a more of a focus on the actual voltage of the signal being calibrated.
