After My Device Lost Power Voltages are Railing

Issue Details

After my device lost power during a test my voltages are railing, is there anything I can do to fix this?


One solution to this issue can be to calibrate the device. You can first try a self calibration in NI-MAX using the Self-Calibrate button while you have your device selected. 

If the voltages still look incorrect you can do a calibration by creating a task for the device. Right click the device and select Create Task... >> Acquire Signals >> Analog Input >> Voltage.  After you create this task you can select the calibration tab and click Calibrate... Follow the steps given to calibrate the device. 

If after going through these steps the device is still showing incorrect behavior the device may have encountered damage when the power was lost from the device. Contact National Instruments for more potential troubleshooting steps.
