Application Template Cannot Be Run Alone Dialog When Running Executable

Issue Details

I have a LabVIEW project that I built an executable from. I took the source code off of the computer, and now when I try to run the executable, I get a dialog box like the one below:
 

Solution

  • The executable you created may have become corrupted. To fix this behavior, rebuild the project from the original source code.
  • If you built the application by localized (non-English) LabVIEW and execute it on English OS, please make sure there is no multibyte characters in path names including sub VI names.
