Error -200220 Using Simulation Interface Toolkit (SIT) 3.0.x

Updated Oct 29, 2018

Issue Details

I used the LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit (SIT) Connection Manager to create an SIT I/O driver that uses NI-DAQmx devices. When I run the host VI that uses this I/O driver, I get Error -200220:  Device identifier is invalid. How do I resolve this?

Solution

The SIT Connection Manager assumes that your DAQ devices are named "DevX", where X is a number such as 1. Check your device's DAQmx alias in MAX and rename to the DevX convention to use with SIT.
