Issue Details

I have a programmable mouse that cannot access the mouse wheel functionality for the CTRL + Mouse Wheel shortcut to scroll through subdigrams such as case structures from the LabVIEW Keyboard Shortcuts. Instead, I would like to change the shortcut in LabVIEW to CTRL + <something else> so that I can program it into my mouse for faster LabVIEW programming when doing a lot of development. How can I change the keyboard shortcut for this in LabVIEW?

The shortcut functionality to scroll through subdiagrams using CTRL + Mouse Wheel is built into the back end of the program and as such is not accessible for user changes.

Additional Information

Beyond this, other options may include:
  • Continuing to use the CTRL + Mouse Wheel shortcut in its current form in LabVIEW
  • Potentially implementing a third party script as an alternative, though not formally supported

If you are changing other shortcuts from the LabVIEW Menus, you may refer to the information found in the LabVIEW help documentation in Menu Shortcuts Page (Options Dialog Box) and Setting Menu Shortcuts.
