Since NI System Configuration is typically installed to complement NI Software and Drivers, the easiest way to get NI System Configuration 19.0 components is to install the specific NI Driver for your hardware. For example: if NI MAX and System Configuration are needed for a PXI System with NI DAQmx hardware, the NI-DAQmx 19.0 and PXI Platform Services 19.0 drivers would install the necessary components.
If individual components of NI System Configuration are needed without any other NI Software, this can still be done through one of the NI Driver Feeds. To add a feed containing NI System Configuration components:
- Download and install NI Package Manager 19.0 on the installation system.
- In NI Package Manager, click the Settings gear in the top right.
- Check the Show available packages and feed management tools option. This will allow selection between General or Feeds settings.
- Click on the Feeds option in Settings to view the settings for Feeds in NI Package Manager.
- Click Add to add a feed.
- Give the feed a name, then enter the URI for a feed which contains the desired NI System Configuration components. For example, the NI-DAQmx 19.0 feed could be used. That feed URI is: https://download.ni.com/support/nipkg/products/ni-d/ni-daqmx/19.0/released/Packages
- Click Add to add the feed.
Once the feed is added, you can select components to install from the
Packages tab in NI Package Manager. Note that you may need to uncheck
Products only in order to see all installers.
