Issue Details

A question mark within a blue circle appeared next to build specification in the LabVIEW project window. It looks something like this:



Why is this appearing and how can I fix it?

Solution

This icon is appearing due to a corruption in the LabVIEW Application Builder.

To fix this, you will need to force reinstall LabVIEW by following the steps in Force Reinstall Non-Working or Corrupt NI Software.

Additional Information

Note: It is not possible to force reinstall only the Application Builder as it is installed with every version of LabVIEW. You need to force reinstall the full of LabVIEW.
