Error "Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)" When Installing DAQmx from CD

Issue Details

I am trying to install DAQmx from the CD that came with my hardware but each time I try to install, it hangs and then this error message comes up:

The NI-DAQmx MAX Configuration Support 18.6.0 installation has failed wtih the following error:
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Solution

This can occur when there is corruption on the CD.  Instead, download DAQmx from another source, such as NI's website .
