I cannot Update My Test Suite activation Green Dongle

Issue Details

I need to add a licence to my green dongle as I cannot used the Test Suite I download from MP Dowload Center with it.

Solution

You need to follow 2 processes:
  • Generate a dignostic file (.dlpf)
  1. Download the attach softaware DinkeyChange.
  2. Plug your dongle in a free USB port.
  3. Launch DinkeyChange. It will detect the dongles attached to your workstation
  1. Use the Tools menu, and select Generate Diagnostic.
  2. Save the diagnostic to a file  and send this file to the NI NFC Technical Support.
  • Updating your Dongle
You must have an update file provided by NI NFC Technical Support. The file extension is .ducf
 
  1. Launch DinkeyChange
  2. By clicking on the menu File then Open Update Code File.
 
     
    1. Select the .ducf file and click  Open
    2. Click on Make changes to dongle, After a few seconds, your dongle has been updated

    Additional Information

    MPManager uses a dongle to protect the test suites. If you need to update your dongle for upgrading or adding new test suites, DinkeyChange is made for that.
