This error is due to a number of reasons such as the following:
- Corrupted or damaged installation files.
- No administrator rights in the computer account.
- An antivirus blocking the installation.
- Installing a file saved in a network and not in the local computer.
- Windows Installer problem.
In order to solve this issue please follow these steps:
- Contact the IT Department and request administrator rights.
- Deactivate any security software installed on your computer.
- Deactivate antivirus software installed on your computer.
- Make sure the files are saved on the computer you want to install LabVIEW on.
- Try to reinstall your National Instruments software.
