Issue Details

I have generated an HTML report on a computer that has TestStand installed on it. The report includes arrays as graphs. When I try to view my report on a computer that does not have TestStand installed on it, I cannot see the graph. How do I fix this?

Solution

To view a TestStand graph without having TestStand installed on your machine, you will need to install two TestStand components – a Graph Control and Measurement Studio support for .NET Framework 4.0.

Locate your original installer to obtain these files or download the latest TestStand installer from ni.com/downloads. These installers are shipped with the TestStand installer and is stored at the following location:
  • <TestStand Installer Location> \Products\TestStand_Graph_Control
  • <TestStand Installer Location> \Products\MStudioUIRuntimev400
You will need to install the .msi file that is contained in these folders with elevated install lever using msiexec.exe. Follow these instructions to do this:
  1. Open cmd.exe
  2. Enter the following into command prompt:
msiexec /i <TestStand Installer Location> \Products\TestStand_Graph_Control\TSGraphControl32.msi" INSTALLLEVEL=1000
