DAQmx Error Loading nilvaiu.dll. Invalid Access to Memory Location

Issue Details

I have a LabVIEW application that uses the DAQmx driver functions. When I run the VI, I get the following error:

Error loading "nilvaiu.dll" . Invalid access to memory location.

Solution

This error could be caused by an incomplete or corrupt installation of NI-DAQmx. You can try the following to resolve the error:
  • Repair the DAQmx driver.
  • Uninstall NI-DAQmx completely and then reinstall by running the installer as an administrator.

Additional Information

If you have NI Package Manager installed, then it replaces the default NI Uninstaller. You can use NI Package Manager to uninstall DAQmx and then reinstall.
