Issue Details

  • When I attempt to compile a bitfile locally I got the following error in the compilation status window: Compilation was aborted by the server.
  • When I attempt to compile a bitfile locally the compilation reports: waiting in queue
  • When I attempt to compile a bitfile the following is reported: The compile worker cannot perform the compilation. The compile may be configured incorrectly for this compilation or it may be in an error state.

Solution

To resolve this problem carry out the following steps:
  1. Check the compatibility between Xilinx Compilation Tools and NI FPGA Hardware and choose the correct compilation tool for your hardware
  2. Check the LabVIEW FPGA Module Compatibility with Windows 10
  3. Check that you have installed the necessary software components in exactly the following installation order to avoid problems or unexpected behavior
  4. Look into the file workerLog.txt under C:\Programme(x86)\National Instruments\FPGA\CompileWorker. If there are one or more entries of "1 is not a supported code page" then change the Windows settings for language to English (United States) and region to United States. This error is related to the interpretation of symbols in different languages. The compilation of your Bitfile will complete after these steps are completed.
    • This can be done under Windows settings >>Time and Language >> Region and Language.
    • You may also need to change the region and language to English on the ni.com website. For that, go to ni.com, scroll down to the end of the page and your configured language is shown there. If it is not English, click on it to change it.ni language.pngThen you can select one of the English languages here.english langs.png
