While it is possible to display the signal of a DAQmx Analog Output task in a Waveform Graph in LabVIEW as shown in the picture below, the same concept cannot be applied to a DAQmx Counter Output task.

However, it is possible to wire the counter output signal to an available analog input channel of your NI data acquisition device. To display the signal, you can use the following methods.

Create a voltage input task using NI MAX to read from the analog channel.
Use the DAQmx shipping examples in LabVIEW such as Voltage – Continuous Input.vi.
