Issue Details

  • Can I run VBAI inspections in parallel in Windows? If so, how many?
  • Can I run VBAI inspections in parallel in Real-Time? If so, how many?

Solution

  • You can run multiple VBAI inspections in parallel in Windows, the limit will be defined by the target memory CPU. Each time you open a new instance to VBAI, it opens a different engine.
  • On Real-Time, you can only run one VBAI inspection at a time.

Additional Information

  • To open multiple instances of VBAI you need to search for each VBAI file and double click over them. You can't open multiple inspections from the VBAI user interface.
  • You can either have the full VBAI license or run time license. It's recommended to not use the same hardware resource (same camera) to do this because it will cause a race condition.
