DBC File Cannot be Saved in NI-XNET Database Editor

Issue Details

While trying to save my .dbc file in NI-XNET Database Editor, I see the following message.  Why can't I save my file?

Solution

Press the export button, and select the file path of your database.  It will save it by overwriting the previous database with your new one.

Additional Information

The native file type for NI-XNET Database Editor is .xml.  Creating or overwriting a file of another type requires use of the Export function.
