In the Multisim user interface, once you have configured new custom simulation settings you can save them if you follow these steps:
- Select Simulate » Save Simulation Settings...
- Browse to any location in your computer and give the file a name.
- Click Save.
The file is now saved with a .dat extension. If later on you would like to load or import these settings to this circuit or another circuit, follow these steps:
- Select Simulate » Load Simulation Settings...
- Locate the file you saved previously.
- Click Open.
Your Multisim simulation settings should now be configured to the ones determined by the file you just open.
