Issue Details

How can I use an Excel File with multiple configurations for a DAQ device and choose one to create a Task on a VI ?

Solution

The Following VI was created to get an array from an Excel File to use it to generate the task on DAQmx with a pre-established configuration.

It is important to review the following points before use it:

1.-On the zip file there is an excel file as an example to run the VI. (You should adapt it to your needs).
2.-The file path of the excel file it is hardcode it on the Block Diagram. It is necessary to change the path before running the VI.
3.-The VI is adapted to read 6 settings per configuration from the excel file and if you need to add more settings to the excel file, it is required to modify the block diagram on the Get Config case.
4.-The VI it is configured to read up to 40 configurations. (If you need more, please modify "The excel get data.vi" function.)
5.-The output of the VI is an array, you need to adapt your code to send each value to the DAQmx configuration tasks.

Additional Information

The project was developed for LabVIEW 2018.
